I am on my way this morning to pick up Nicholas Spark's new book. The book nerd in me has been counting down the days until his new book was released. I've been in a bit of a book slump lately, not being able to find a good book to read so I am excited I will finally be able to curl up with a good book tonight.
What are y'all reading?
Right now I am reading The Other Boleyn Girl and I LOVE it! OMG I cannot wait to read the rest of these books.
ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of Nicholas Sparks, I hope it is a good read though. I am reading Three Shirt Deal by Stephen J. Cannell. I am really enjoying it.!
ReplyDeleteJust finished the latest book from Lauren Weisberger (who also wrote "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Chasing Harry Winston"). This book is called "The Last Night at Chateau Marmot", and it is chick lit at its best!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get his new book! He's coming to a town near me next Monday for a signing so I'm trying to decide whether to buy it now or just wait a few more days! Hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI'm going on Friday (my next day off) to get his new book! Can't wait! I'm still reading "Eat Pray Love" - I've seriously been reading this book for like 2 mos and I just can't seem to finish it. When I get a chance to pick it up, I get like 10 pages in, and I'm falling asleep. Boo on work keeping me so busy!
ReplyDeleteAnyway! You'll have to tell me how it is. It will probably sit on my shelf for a few more weeks before I get to dive in.
Ok...I just came from your previous post about the new owner of "Tank" ...and still grabbing a tissue! So, goodness gracious...Nicholas Sparks! I think that he is a great writer, and I have seen some of the movies made from his books... but I am so emotional and get too involved in the stories, so that I actually have told my hubby and kids that I will not watch another movie based on his books or read any! haha
ReplyDeleteToo much heartache, even if some do have "happy moments".
I love reading books set in the 1940's era...Christian fiction...true or based on true stories...action/adventure... Oh I read one of our younger daughter's books, while we were at her apartment Labor day weekend in KY...
easy, fun, true story of the first girls to work at Tiffany's in New York...before these two college friends from Iowa, it was all males that were hired there.
Enjoy your book :o)
Blessings & Aloha!
