It's beginning to look a lot like...

Christmas! Now that Halloween is done my christmas countdown has begun. I know we still have thanksgiving to get through and while I love Thanksgiving, it hasn't been the same since I've moved away from home. I'm sure as the kids get older it will be more special and we are fortunate to have spent the fast few thanksgivings with great friends but there is just something even more meaningful when your family is there gathered around the table. But back to Christmas!

This year we will be heading to Wisconsin for Christmas. I haven't spent a Christmas in Wi since I was pregnant with Gianna. And best of all we will be spending the whole month of Dec in Wi. I have so many things planned for the kids and I. I can't wait to be near my family and lifelong friends, experience a white Christmas again and to drive around doing fun Christmasy activities in the freezing cold.

I have already starting to prepare for our trip home. The christmas shopping and crafting is almost complete. I pretty much do all my online shopping online so that makes things easier anyway, but getting the kids packages in the mail is so exciting. I can't wait!
Here are some of the things I am most excited about this year(Click on pictures to be taken to their source)
Yay for cute Christmas pajamas

I am loving these leggings. These would be so cute paired with the ugg boots I finally get to wear again and a cute black shirt

Christmas Card photo ideas
I love this and would so recreate it if the husband were home. But since he won't be until right before Christmas I am going to take my own version of just the kids. Super cute
How cute is this snowman breakfast. The kids would love this
The Elf on the Shelf
We are starting the Elf on the shelf tradition this year and I can't wait. I know Ethan will have no clue what is going on but Gianna might. So we will give it a try. I can't wait to come up with fun ways to hide our elf each night

Christmas decorations! I can't wait to go drive around Milwaukee and look at all the houses decorated for Christmas
What every family needs, A Christmas bucket list. I hope to do all of the things listed

Watch Christmas movies. I can watch Elf and Christmas Vacation over and over
I have never made a gingerbread house before. I can't wait to try and make one this year
And one more new tradition that we are starting is the 25 books of Christmas. I bought 25 Christmas books and plan on wrapping them and putting them in a basket. Starting on Dec 1 the kids will open one and that will be our story for the night all the way until Christmas. So excited

Christmas Crafts- I love doing holiday themed crafts with the kids
And last but not least fun Christmas outfits. The kids need Christmas pajamas, outfits to wear when they meet Santa, Christmas eve and day outfits, you name it. I am all about dressing the kids up for each occasion. While they still let me
I think it's time for me to go turn on the Christmas music!
