The hubs are having our first official date night in six months. Our one and only outing without the baby was a ten minute trip to Lowes. Woohoo! So we are taking full advantage of my parents being in town and enjoying a night out.
In honor of date night I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time in six months. It's amazing how much better I feel. Pedicures and waxes were a once a month occurrence for me when I was working and pre baby. Now they are a luxury. I'm not complaining I'd rather spend money on her anyway but it was nice to be pampered at least for five minutes today!
We aren't doing anything too exciting. Just going to see the Girl with the Dragon tattoo but I still feel like a giddy high schooler about to go on my first date
Although I must say as the hubs and I were both getting ready we almost chickened out and stayed home. I know I know, she will be fine but hey I've never left her for longer than an hour before. But the hubs and I are in much need of some adult time to ourselves so off we go!
