It's October
It's finally October! I have always loved the fall and all the festivities that fall brings and now I love the month of October even more since my bay boy was born in October. I can't believe that in 18 days my little man will be one! So in honor of fall I decided to make a little bucket/to do list for the kids and I
- Go to the pumpkin patch
-Go on a hayride
- Go to a petting zoo
-Walk through a corn maze
-Watch kid friendly Halloween movies (Nightmare before Christmas, Hotel Transylvania, Young Frankenstein and my personal favorite Hocus Pocus)
-Carve pumpkins
-Finish putting out our Halloween Decorations
-Tune into the 31 Days of Halloween on ABC family
- Rock our plaid, leggings and boots(although that will be hard to do in 90 degree weather)
-Make apple cider
- Eat and drink anything made with pumpkin- Mmm starbucks pumpkin spice latte's
-Take cute photos of the kids at the pumpkin patch
-Work on my halloween costume
- Decorate the front porch with all our pumpkins
- bake my mom's yummy pumpkin bread
-Read lots of fall and halloween themed books to the kids
And some non-fall related activities on my own personal to do list
-Order Ethan's birthday invites
-Take invite picture of Ethan in his sock monkey outfit
-Get Ethan's one year pictures done along with some fall family photos minus the hubs
-Make the decorations for Ethan's party
-Order the party food(I am not cooking this time, catering it is)
-Order Ethan's birthday presents
-Finish reading Happiest Toddler on the block
-Sort through the kids clothes
-Start working on Gianna's dollhouse
-Clean out our guest room
-Enjoy a fun day of shopping down in Destin without the kids(Thanks to my lovely parents coming to visit in a few weeks)
-Take the kids to the circus
-Read more/watch tv less
-Get a head start on Christmas presents(all homemade ones for the grandparents this year)Hey that's what happens when you have grandkids
Happy October 1st everyone
