Santa's Village

Cedarburg, Wi is one of my favorite places to visit. Any time a tv show or a movie is set in a quaint, small town I easily picture the town of Cedarburg. The houses are beautiful, older and built with character. The main street is full of mom and pop shops. Beautiful bakeries, yummy coffee baritas and fun little boutiques. And the winery and pizza places that are also there are a major perk!

They always have a fall festival, a winter festival and a strawberry festival which is their wine festival. If we ever move back to Wi I would love to live in Cedarburg. So when my dad told me they had a Santa's village this year we had to take the kids! The hubs wasn't in town yet so my brother, dad, mom and I loaded up the kids and off we went. Santa arrived at 11 and the website said to arrive early so we could sign up and get on the waiting list. We got there at 10:40 and there was already a 2 hour wait to see Santa. We took advantage to walk around the town, get some amazing homemade chocolate and some delicious pumpkin spice coffee while we waited. Then it was our turn! And it was well worth the wait. Santa's house was adorable, and Santa and Mrs Claus looked like the real deal. Gianna did pretty good with Santa although she refused to smile and Ethan just wanted to keep pulling Santa's beard so he didn't last too long on Santa's lap. My parents even got a picture with Santa too! We finished out the day by getting pizza  with the kids. I have loved creating all these memories with my kiddos' this year and am so blessed to have my family be a part of it all

  1. How cute! This reminds me of a town in Michigan called Frankenmuth. Such a fun Christmas town.
