I announced our big news on facebook last night and we all know nothing is official unless it's on facebook
I'm feeling much more relaxed and excited now that we hit 12 weeks. Although I still feel extremely exhausted and run down. It took so much effort today to walk let alone put in a full 10 hour work day. Luckily I'm off to get my first prenatal massage tonight. I'm so looking forward to that my back is killing me
Now let's talk about weight. I haven't gained any and food is really starting to disgust me. Unless it's carbs baby doesn't like it. Usually I have a bagel in the morning for breakfast but thats not filling for me so with working longer days I decided to make a nice big breakfast of eggs and toast. Ten minutes later and I didnt quite make it to the bathroom. Ugh but oh well. I don't mind I just have to start finding different foods baby can eat besides carbs. Lunch has been hard tp cause I drive from client to client. I try to pack a lunch but having no microwave access and not being able to eat lunch meat makes lunch options difficult. Any ideas ladies
Hope y'all are having a great week so far. My sister in law and niece are coming to visit tomorrow. I'm so excited!

My doctor told me that cold cut ham is fine, so I've been eating that. Honestly, if you're feeling sick, eat whatever appeals to you. Take your vitamins and there will be plenty of time when you're feeling better to eat well. Just listen to what your body wants!
ReplyDeleteI know you've heard this from me long ago but CONGRATS again!! Now the fun part of sharing the news and all the big milestones begins :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 12 weeks and making it fbook official!!
ReplyDeleteI found that with morning sickness, you gotta just eat what you can keep down. For me it was lays plain potato chips and vanilla ice cream! Congrats on the big announcement!!
ReplyDeleteYAYYYY! becoming facebook official is always so fun!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on hitting 12 weeks and making it fb "official." So excited for you guys. And hopefully the baby will decide to expand their food group preferences in the 2nd trimester!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteI had unbelievable all day sickness my first 4 months with my munchkin. It was too the point that I lost weight. The only thing I held down was fruit loops and gatorade! I don't even like fruit loops LOL
ReplyDeleteI would just eat what you keep down and keep your doc informed on what you are able to eat. They will for sure let you know if you have anything to worry about.
Congrats on making it FB official!
Congrats on making things FB official :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! If Carbs is what the baby is craving now, then just pack the saltines in the car & maybe some cheese sticks for protein.Apples are always a good choice & not to rough on the stomach either. For the moment you are at the mercy of the little one- so eat whatever stays down!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making it 12 weeks! And it being "official"! I bet your friends and family are very excited. Best wishes with the morning sickness, I cannot offer any help with that! I had it till about 21 weeks, and NOTHING helped. Hope you have better luck!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on it being official! Sorry to hear about the eating issues. Hmmm I have never been pregnant before, but I think I heard you can have the low salt versions of cold cuts. Ask your Dr of course. They know best.
ReplyDeleteYeah the whole not being able to eat deli meats is really tough when trying to figure out what the heck to eat for lunch! I have survived this whole pregnancy on PB&J - you still get the protein you need, and use whole wheat bread for the fiber. Also, apples and bananas are easy to transport too.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry - soon enough you'll start feeling better and your energy will return, the 2nd trimester really is the best one! :)
