We had such a great weekend. I was even more excited for the Holiday's this year now that Gianna is here. I can't wait to carry on current traditions and start our own as a family!
On thanksgiving we went to celebrate with our good friends. They welcomed a baby last Sunday and it was fun to get the babes together and compare. He was exactly the same size as Gianna was as she was born! It's amazing how big Gianna seemed compared to him and how sad that although it was just four short months ago it seems like she is growing up so fast!
We had a great time celebrating with our friends. It's hard to be away from our families during the holidays but thankfully we have great friends who we consider family nearby
Thursday night we came home and watched A National Lampoon Christmas Vacation since the next day we were going to Griswald our house!
Friday we woke up bright and early and started decorating. The tree went up, the outside lights were strung and I put out the rest of my Christmas decor around the house. It's funny in our apartment I had a piece of Xmas decor on every available space. Now though I don't have enough stuff to truly decorate like I want. Guess that means I need to do some Xmas shopping.
Here's my lil Santa Baby by our tree
Saturday- I wrapped presents and finished putting the ornaments on along with hanging our stockings. There's nothing better than spending the day decorating and watching Xmas movies
Giana also tried out a new toy yesterday.
What a workout!
We finished the day by watching A Muppet Christmas Carol and heading to bed
Today the hubs and I are celebrating our own lil thanksgiving as a family of three. I better get back to cooking
Hope y'all had a great thanksgiving. This may have been are best yet. I am so thankful and have been so blessed this year
