Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone. I hope you all have a great weekend. I just got back from visiting the Special Operations museum here at town where they had a field of flags dedicated to a veteran. It was beautiful and breathtaking to see. I will post pictures of it tomorrow as I have a special memorial day post planned

Just wanted to let every one know that the Military Channel is broadcasting live the National Memorial Day parade from Washington on Monday. Also for Memorial Day, the American Legion and Military Channel have teamed up to honor troops who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, including three soldiers who never made it back home. A series of ten, one-minute vignettes, "American Heroes" premieres Memorial Day on the Military Channel, which co-sponsored the production with The American Legion -- the country's largest veterans service organization with about 2.5 million members worldwide. (I took this quote from the military channel's website, link is listed below) So tune in to the Military channel this Memorial Day as they pay tribute to those who have given and are giving their lives for this country
